	IBOOK... check out www.apple.com for 1000 bucks you can get an awesome machine.  Infanitaly better than any dell.  Apple, also has firewire (soon to have 800) and awesome vid editing software.  Windows me SUCKS, trust me i am a pc user also.  Right now im running xp and hate it.  If you want a temporary fix, reformat and get xp.  If you want a good simi-permenant fix get an ibook, pay the extra money and get a super drive on it (or get a super drive) so you can burn dvds....apples awesome, with the extra cash get an ipod.... peace
