This elderly woman walks up to our friend that is just getting out of his Pyranha S6.

She looks at him like he's some kind of alien (His words when he told it to us), probably she didn't expect any legs to come out of it or something like that.
She said: " it looks like fun paddling your boats but it isn't going too well now is it? "  He had to explain that we did not get  "swept back towards shore" and that the moves were actually intended.

A Chinese collegue when I showed him a video of a friend throwing flatwheels:
"  That boat looks very instable, I didn't knew kayaking was that difficult "

The usual "surboard" comments when we're driving through town with boats on our roofs.

A French farmer told us to "Come back in March, there is more fish then" when we paddled by.
