time we are seeing a symptom rather than the cause of the problem. Often the issue is one of timing: they are starting the paddle stroke before they start the hipsnap. If you do that then the head will come up nearly every time. If the timing is correct (hipsnap preceeds the paddle stroke) most of the "pulling up the head" issue disappears.
