to roll up on the front deck I should change my bomber roll and do my c-c and sweep rolls and roll up on the back deck.
Think of the reasons why he said it's easier. Most boaters that are having trouble with their rolls are not flexible and are out of shape. They lack the abdominal strength to adequetly support themselves during the roll. The point of rolling on the front deck or the back deck is to lower the center of gravity and make the rotation of the boat easier.
I really don't care who says it but I've seen numerous people break their nose, teeth, chin, cut their eyes, etc and I'm not going to be the one that exposes my face during any part of the roll if I can help it. Do that roll right before you get stuffed into a rock or an undercut and watch the boater get their faced hammered while laying back.
Also, do that crap in heavy current and boils and watch the boater get their back edges cought and flip right back over.
