I've found it to be a complete waste of my time. Real "boatertalk" happens on the river. Trust me, I used to be a diehard "bter" , checking every 2hrs or so when I wasnt engaged, loved it so much I wanted my username to be green---payed the $ to become a member...all that stuff..Yes its great our sport has become popular enough for a website this involved and I applaud :) Im all for our sport!!! but for heavens sake 99% of the forums are complete crap. And the reviews are so personal. Boaters have so many different tastes; its impossible to tell whats good and whats not from the reviews. Again I appluad the love of our sport expressed on this site, BUT never again will I waste the time to continually check the forums. If you do; cool for you. But not I. If Im off the water Id rather be reading or working around the house. Goodbye btalk!! *sniff sniff*
