	as a kid Phantasm was one of those. john carpenter's Mouth of Madness was weird and not real good, but i still think about the old man on the bicycle (if anyone has see that). i see that guy sometimes when i'm coming home tired from the river. saw jeepers creepers 1 recently which had some disturbing images..that van/vehicle for one, but it kinda sucked. but, most horror movies suck by nature. the ring was worth seeing..it worked on a date for me! but, i'd probably agree w/ AK on something like Seven..but its not really horror.
