I have a bombproof roll, but recently i bought a new boat (riot air) and i have had some trouble getting it to roll on the first try...is it me just having to get adjusted to a new boat or is there something special you have to do? thanks

You probably got used to rolling your old boat (whatever it was) and now this one requires better technique

Could it be (?!?) that different boats require different effort and different technique?

Yes, it could be, in fact Johnny Kern did exactly that when he created the Gus

Probably just need to tweak it then. Some boats just roll differently.

I think newer boats ARE harder to roll...
