For those of you in the White Salmon River area, or headed there for the Gorge Games, take note -
Come join the Paddle For Your Life (PFYL) crew for a post-river barbecue dinner! PFYL is a volunteer-based project that is committed to providing whitewater kayak experiences for high-school age youth with the objective of empowering the individual and encouraging healthy growth through learning to cooperate with the power of moving water. When: 17 July 2004 5 - 9 pm
Where: Guler - Mt. Adams County Park
Trout Lake, Washington
Cost: Free, Donations Recommended and Graciously Appreciated
What to expect: Carni, omni, and veggie fare - Meat and non-meat burgers and dogs, chicken, potato salad, beans, random standard picnic fare, assorted non-alcoholic libations.
Directions:
North on Highway 141 into Trout Lake
Turn Left onto Jennings Road (at Post Office)
Turn Right onto Park Road
Festivities will be on left at the park picnic shelter. Park there or in the campground loop just a few feet further up the hill.
