Zero degree offset may not accomplish that.  I understand that something like 12 degrees is a neutral offset but that it will be somewhat different for different people.  It is obviously expensive to buy a lot of different paddles, each with a different offset (which is what we often end up doing over time).  I would consider (and am considering) getting a paddle with variable offset.  Several major manufacturers make them.
