If I'm wrong about his I hope someone will explain it so that I can understand, but it seems to me....
that you can't have it both ways. If you adjust the left paddle (and grip) so that the right wrist doesn't have to rotate, then the left grip has to rotate _a_whole_bunch_ when it moves to the top.
I agree with you that "ideally" you want neither hand to rotate, but that would require a paddle that magically reversed its offset with every stroke. I think.
I used to paddle with a 12, and they're getting to be very popular, but now I wonder why bother? Offset vs No-Offset are two different styles of handling the paddle--Lefty loosey vs. top loosey. Why try to split the diffference? |
