I assume the class V on town creek you are refering to is Blockage (rather then high falls... which is big, but has few hazards) Blockage is just that... a bunch of huge boulders blocking up the river.  At higher levels there are two lines on river right that look pretty good to go.  They are probally safer at 600+ cfs then lower levels.

There are a ton of undercuts and sieves in blockage... espcially on river left and center.

I haven't run it yet, but BigPappa and I have been looking at some lines for a while.
