the gauley was great thanks to yall. it was my first trip down the upper gauley and it was wonderful. we put on about noon fri., sat., and sun. we might have seen a dozen boaters if even that many. it was like we had the river all to ourselves. seeing the bear in the parking lot was something i wont soon forget. it was a wonderful trip. i wish i could be there next weekend to see the masses. i hope you have as good of a gauley weekend as i did, althought it will be hard to beat.
