	Last year we had no problem in getting our boats to Costa Rica on Delta Airlines -- they charged $50/boat/way to transport "oversized luggage" -- when picking up the boats in San Jose it was clearly obvious that we were not alone and that a lot of folks take surf boards and kayaks to Costa Rica -- and not a question was asked coming or going. I assume that Delta will continue to be receptive to transporting your boat -- especially given that they are on the throes of bankruptcy customer service should be high of their list....
