	The stiff hole just above the rock loves to make you say hello too. A righty while punching the whole will send you away from the rock. I think most of the water on the upstream side pillows off and the water towards the downstream edge is going under. It is a bit benign, you can even catch the eddy on the upstream face. I cant tell you how many times I have stuck my bow under the downstream edge of that rock and done a space wheelie out! I once saw a guy upside down as in the photo get shunted into that rock and need some stitches, there is more left to right current then it appears. JT
