note You might offer to do a "test run" of Fayette Station...it's pretty soup du jour for the NRG and LG. New

If you get down there (Fayette Station) and go into freak out, you may just pass on the New and LG this go around.  Although both rivers are pretty straightforward, they do have several undercuts and potential hazards.  Nobody wants to witness a newbie in over their head on these rivers.  It makes for a very long day and potential injury or death.

I personally would use Fayette Station as a litmus test to decide if I want to lead somebody down the rivers.  It's a VERY easy to read rapid but gives you the big wave feel of these rivers...and there is a HUGE eddy should there be any mishaps upstream.  Just my opinion.

Have fun and be safe...the rivers will be there next year too.
