Because you boat, and you understand.  Unfortunately, guys for the majority aren't lucky enough to get set up with a chick that's as open-minded as most of the female boaters I meet (and I assume you fit in that catagory).  I'm with one that's fairly flexible, and if there's no pushback to a boating day, all is well, but when it does interfere with something she had her mind set on, compromise is often in order.  NOW...she DOES NOT get the credit card, but a nice dinner or a non-boating day in the mountains (if it's a weekend trip, and she goes along) seems to make the world spin a lot easier.
