	i am currently being sued for property damage.... Heres the story... I egged one of my friends car as a practical joke... unfortunately he was tipped off to what was going to happen... so he video taped the whole thing.... he then proceeded to take his car and video to the police station.... the officer filled out a police report and then no charges were pressed..... my friend then went and got estimates to replace the damage to his 97' honda civic.... he gave me the estimates which ranged from $2700 to $3000.... i then went and got a copy of the police report which stated that all i damaged was the spoiler and right rear fender..... the estimates he gave me were to repaint his whole car..... i told him i was only responsible to replace what was on the police report.... now this has become a legal battle.... i just want to know what i am actually responsible for..... and if this does go to court how i should deal with the situation..... and a side note.... after he called and told me that he had a video of me and that he had filled a police report i offered to wash his car which he declined.... and now he is saying that the egg has been baking on his car and the whole thing needs to be painted..... i realize i fucked up and that i need to make things right.... but i am not willing to get fucked over.... any advice would be appreciated..... even negative.... thanks Bezzy
