Remember, first of all, that fast, hard-driving rock was still in its infancy. The song itself, starts out slow, then gradually increases in tempo. Faster, faster, faster......Jesus H. Christ, you ever tried fast-dancing to Freebird....or playing some table-crashing matches of ping-pong with it at 100 decibels!!?? You can burn off five pounds in ten minutes!

No wonder I'm deaf and crippled in my old age.
