I'll take a few more years to observe the trend, then I'll decide whether to buy a retirement home near Asheville, or to flee the Southern Sahara for someplace like Fairmont, WV: good boating, mild climate if average temps truly go up 3 or 4 degrees, and better rainfall than the Southeast, since it is on the NW (Lake Effects) side of the Appalachians. |
