 For Adam...... New

So I get to work today to discover that one of my co-workers, Adam, hung himself Saturday night. I didn't know him well....only had a few short conversations with him, but enough to like him and be friendly. I can't speak to his reasoning or circumstances, I just know that a fellow human being found something so wrong with his life that he found it necessary to end it. And that's a tragic thing.
I wish I'd gotten to know Adam a little better, but our paths just didn't cross much. But if there's something good to come of this, it's that it has made me (as well as alot of others) appreciate all the more what we have....the families and friends that are there for us, and hopefully we for them. And you need to let them know every day how much you love them.....because you may never get a chance to say that again.
So that's what this post is about.....all of you friends here. Some of you I'm pretty tight with.....some of you I barely know at all. But for some reason, whatever the reason, you have chosen to be my friend. And I thank you from the bottom of my heart. And those who know me best....you know I love ya, but I'm tellin' you again anyway. And you all need to do the same.....let those people that mean something to you know it. Fix whatever problems you have....get right with yourself, your family, your friends, and God. Tomorrow is not promised....make it right today....RIGHT NOW!
