nobody forced people to buy gas guzzlers, homes 30 miles from where they work, driving 80 mph, etc.  You'll hear many that will blame the gas companies but then go back to the points I just made and tell me how Exxon forced anybody'e decisions.  I'm not innocent either as I drove my bigazz truck for 11 years but had always had 4 cly vehicles all the way back to 1970....and now back in a 4 cly.  But I never got caught up in living in the burbs or having a bigazz house.

Of course, Louie says I have no validation for my views just because I never served in the military.

note not really, because we could have weened ourselves from oil by now, but we didn't because big oil got greedy TheBroncoKid New
note once again....oil and auto industry DID NOT force our consumer decisions..... tomcat New
disagree So, we consumers, for years,  have been able to choose between vehicles that get 70 mpg and vehicles that get 14 mpg? <NT> TheBroncoKid New
note are you dense or sumtin?....yes, we've all had CHOICES that contribute to how much oil we consume..... tomcat New
