I'm kinda lucky in that I was already growing tired of the road trips associated with paddling out-of-state so often and adjusting to local options.  But, the bad part has been that our local whitewater stuff hasn't been normal for the past few yrs due to drought so my paddle milage has really decreased.  Got a couple of canoes (one just for fishing) to use on mild water like the Buffalo and really picked up my road biking milage.  But, I do miss going to the Ocoee several times a yr like I used to and haven't been to CO in the past summers.  I'm VERY thankful that I didn't jump into a larger home further out like so many have so I still live close to work and all shopping.  I am also considering a little scooter....as much for local fun as much running errands.
