...price of electricity isn't going down, and if we make the switch from petro fuels to electricity, the increased demand will send prices per kilowatt hour even higher. Not too mention that in many places electricity is produced by fossil fuels (coal and gas, which everyone seems to hate). I'd also hate to see increase demand for hydro electricity.

I'd really like to see a good case study on electric cars. Everyone seems to view them as utopia. I'm not quite convinced.
