note Concerning all the attention recently directed towards the #7 Nalgene bottles and BPA... New

I just noticed that the 5 gallon water jugs we use for drinking water in our house are also #7 plastic. Nalgene seems to be getting all the bad press, but these blue containers used by Culligan and other water delivery companies are probably more ubiquitous.

note Our poly Hersheys bottles are labeled number 7.  Does not mean they are made of the same stuff as Nalgene 7.   ezwater New

note scroll down to bottom of this here page: GCA_Steve New
note I just checked our inventory.  Nearly all are class 2 HDPE. One older one is class 7 "other" but ezwater New
note check out this here too, this is some good shit. GCA_Steve New
note here's the catch though:  recycle code 7 is "Other" plastic .... not included in the first 6 types GCA_Steve New
note Some Hersheys are labeled 2, some are labeled 7, but it's pretty much the same stuff. <NT> ezwater New
note the type 7's are probably so because the leftover chocolate syrup changes their chemical composition. GCA_Steve New
more ps.  hmmmmm!!  same number of recycle classes as whitewater difficulty levels. GCA_Steve New
