That sounds weird, I've never heard of that.  How badly do you need to use "41"?

My problem is that I tried to open a powerpoint file that had features on it that I haven't loaded on my computer.

NOW, every time I try to open ANY msoffice application (excel, word, pp) it prompts me to load my installation cd's.  I don't want to.  How do I make it stop?

ps I'm not trying to thredjack, just hoping maybe we can get 2 ms questions answered at once.

Mike
