I used to do a lot of fun high order math. I really liked it. The world of software doesn't offer a ton of that, unless you are working on an engineering project.

Numerical methods: Newton-Raphson, Gauss-Jordan, Predictor-Corrector, Finite-element analysis. That's where the fun is. :-)

Hyperbolic PDEs... Warm, fuzzy thoughts. :-)
