	The car was a green Rav4 or similar, with Georgia tags.  We think it was a girl's car.  It had a XXX on the roof and a Wavesport logo tag hanging from the rear view mirror. Who knows the story, but my best guess is that she? bought the RPM yesterday.  The timing is mighty close for a sale like that though.  It was missing its float bags.   I think the sheriff's theory of 'abandoned property' is ridiculous; he told us it was abandoned property after conferring with two rangers so I'm not sure who/how they came up with that explanation, but I will say that I plan on putting a small lock and cable in my drybag for circumstances like this in the future.  I asked whether or not it would have been considered 'abandoned' if it had been locked to something and he said no.  Stupid question maybe but then again I think calling Russ's boat 'abandoned' is stupid too.
