	Seriously, if people really believe this is a national security issue, WE should nationalize oil.  It is our resource, yet it is extracted with help from our tax subsidies, sold back to us at an inflated rate and some is even sold to other countries.  If we Nationalized our own oil, we would be immune to international supply and demand.  There is no real competition in the oil market, so that arguement against nationalization is moot.  But the industry has much more power than any group of voters so it aint't happening.
