	guy was as gay as they come, but was anti-homosexual all the way. not sure i worded all that right, but you get the drift. i think jesse helms was a racist, hate-mongering redneck. he was an embarrassment to the south and a disgrace to the people of NC who kept sending him back to DC. he was the redneck version of Al Sharption as he had nothing to contribute but divisiveness and hatred of anyone not his race. doubt he was gay frankly, but it wouldn't surprise me as those that beat the drum the loudest have the most to hide. i also agree that folks who have "issues" with homosexuality are the ones that make the biggest fuss. what about that preacher in CO that made all the noise about gays and was with a male hooker snorting crack on the weekends. i could care less what consenting adults do in their free time. i like to play my guitar, kayak and drink george dickel, for some that may be offensive.
