I think too many people go to the emergency room when they actually just need a walk in clinic.

Incidently, when I was living in GA I went to the emergency room once, and believe it or not I was the ONLY person there. I visited the minor emergency clinic there a few times, and never had to wait more than an hour, and that was smack dab in the middle of mid-town / buckhead area. I'ver heard plenty of horror stories though. I think the key is to find a good hospital, not just go to the closest one.

Sounds like your nephew in law needs to relocate to a new part of town. If you're getting mugged it's time to more or to change the areas you frequent.
