note New car purchase suggestion needed. New

So, sounds like I'll be getting a job offer next week and will need to update my ride to something more reliable than my '99 Outback.  I absolutely love the wagon but am not sure if I'll go for another Subaru or not.  Anything similar I should consider (think value)?  For example, thoughts on the Ford Freestyle?  I know it's not a Subi...but there's a big difference in price.  Thoughts on the Honda Element?

Appreciate any feedback or suggestions.  I'd like to keep it $15K or less....so obviously I'm not looking for a brand new car.

note Remember that Hondas, and many Toyotas, hold value too well to be good buys as used cars. ezwater New
