The answer to that is McCain. He seems to have enough money that he does not seem to be as beholding to special interest as Obama. Look at Obama's shady real estate deal. That being said, Obama seems to have higher principles than his fellow senators and congressmen, LOL. The chances of McCain being successful is 1 percent,
I am all for raising the salaries of our legislators to more than they can make in the private sector, if that would eliminate greed and special interests.
It sure has not worked with business executives, most of them want more and more, are not effective managers, run their companies into the ground, and still get paid ridiculous bonuses or buyouts. With that being said, I wonder if the reform you want, would be more likely to happen, if the majority of our senators and congressman were business people, prominent educators and miltary people. |
