If true, this highlights again the monumental imcompetence of the McCain campaign New

Both campaigns have to approve the moderators. Ifill's book has been in the works for awhile. If this immediately makes her hopelessly biased, the McCain camp screwed up big time.
The McCain camp *did* threaten to boycott the NBC debate due to the perceived unfriendliness of MSNBC, but Tom Brokaw went to them on bended knee and promised that Olbermann and Mathews would be forced out of the anchor chairs.
CBS' Bob Schieffer moderated one of the 2004 debates, despite the fact that he is a longtime friend of George W. Bush
But we know what this really is - getting a talking point lined up in case Palin doesn't do well Thursday night. "The moderator was mean to her and really unfair!"

Wow, way to spin that one! "Ifill's biased so it's McCain's fault!" Bartender, can I have one too? rlhartman New

Typical. If you can't defend your position, claim "moral superiority" and run away. How elegant of you. <NT> rlhartman New
And yes, Biden should ask Ifill to step aside regardless of what YOU think of McCain... rlhartman New
