> Would you be disappointed to find out that they were not?
No, makes no difference. If they're blowing people up, they're scum.
> Would those people be blowing each other up if they had not been invaded?
Yes, they've been blowing up planes, embassies, barracks, you name it for years ... long before they were invaded. They continue to blow things up in countries that have had no involvement in our wars.
> Would you feel better if they were some other religion?
No, makes no difference. Simple fact is, they are not other religions. How many times in the last decade has a Christian, Hindu, Buddhist, ... anyone but Muslim, walked into a mall full of civilians and detonated a bomb?
> We don't need a religious war. We're the ones who have our arms stretched to the other side of the planet, mucking around where we are not wanted.
Yeah, it's our fault ... and if we brought all our troops home and became isolationists, the Muslim bombers would stop. Sure.
There's 2 sides to every story. > Actually, there's many sides to every story. Rarely, if ever, are there only 2 sides to a story.
