	I would like to share my opinion. I will start by saying everything we do is selfish and I will follow up by saying having children is twice as selfish. Think about the billion of kids who could be adopted by people who want kids and dont adopt because they selfishly want kids with their blood in their children. Think about urban sprawl and how the growing population creates the need to chop down more trees, dig up more mountains, and make room for more walmarts. If every couple had no more than two kids and never split up and never remarried and never had more kids maybe urban sprawl would not happen. Think about how many people have stayed in relationships because "opps someone got pregnant". The majority of pregnancies I have witnessed in the last 10 years have been accidents and as a result some couple ended up getting married. I have seen two that were planned and I do know of two married friends trying to conceive but the 18 other couples I am close with fell under the first catagory and I can almost gaurantee there marriages would not have happened had there not been kids and some of them have already fallen apart. Both my brother and sister were married (not to each other) as a result of unplanned pregnancies. And my brothers marriage is already ended, but his ex-wfie got pregnant by someone else and then remarried. I know many people who have kids so that someone will take care of them when they get older. My mom is a great example of this. I have been living on my own since I was fourteen and there has not been one year that my mom has not asked for money. Alot of people have kids in an attempt to fill "the void" inside themselves. I visit my family because they always go on about how they miss me and how much they want to see me and how they have KIDS so its much harder for them and their kids are growing and they want me to see them before they are all grown up. So I have to miss work (which cost money) and pay(more money) to fly to see them. I just have yet to figure how exactly is a person being more selfish by not having kids.
