Both the paddle and the drytop were in the water balancing/hanging from the tree sticking out into the pool where the river right portage is above Nutcracker. Couldn't have been there for long.
The phone number on the paddle "doesn't take incoming calls".
I retrieved both of them and they're here in West Asheville.
