I'm not sure of the size of water your running but I have found two things that can help. Especially if you are running bigger water. Running your floor a bit softer will keep you from surfing and stalling by allowing the boat to track better and maintain forward or rearward speed. You lose some manuverablity but its more than made up for with the extra tracking and speed. Like it was said, moving your frame and oars slightly forward seems to help. Not sure why, but I have played with this on two differnt occasions and it seemed to help. The other thing I will say about the aircell floors is that the bigger the boat the more water seems to be held in the floor and the more sluggish a boat will feel. I've run various Aire boats, a SP and didn't notice it, a 14'er and noticed it some, a 15'6" and felt it for sure and an 18'er and really felt it. The smaller Maravia's felt less different than the Aire counterparts and the larger Maravia's felt considerably different than their coresponding Aire buddies. i think the concept is great but seems to lend itself to smaller boats, IK's and cats.

My recomendation would be to try a few things, let some air out of the floor and move your frame and oars around some..
