 multi-day recommendations for BC in Aug/Sept? New

Anybody have experience or recommendations for 3-10 day trips in BC? We've got a window of about a month from mid-August to mid-Sept we can get away. Looking for something with no more than class 4, good camping, scenery top priority. I've done a decent amount of kayaking in BC and AK but mostly drove by the big rivers on the way to creeks. From my experience this seems like a decent time of year up there though (starting to get a little wet I know).
I've been poking around online looking at commercial trip runs, but thought I'd see if anyone on here has any good recommendations? We just moved to Portland so BC seems like a good drivable distance with the raft and frame. Probably don't have time to get up to Northern BC, drove to and from Alaska one time, don't want to blow all my vacation time on the road.
