	I did a Deso trip towards the end of July 2006.  We saw almost no bugs, even in the first 25 miles (the notorious mosquito zone).  I think it was a low water year, which could have meant few "breeding pools." We'll be back in mid-June this year.  I'm expecting many more bugs. -- RS
