You should be able to find a good boat.  For the Ocoee, try for something at 12-13 feet (definately not over 14), self-bailing is good but not required.  I actually think bucket boats give a better ride on the Ocoee, but they are more prone to getting pinned and bailing isn't the most fun thing in the world on any river.
