	Talking of talons, I was checking out the surf at Nags Head on the ride home last weekend, and I was lucky enough to see a bird fly into the surf, crash down into the waves, and snag a fish. Decent sized too (had to have been 8" or so long at least). It flew off with it held in its claws. I had no clue what kind of bird it was, but that was quite an impressive feat.
