Saw your post below and wanted to share a thought with you. Alex and I stocked boats up at the divide for a Bogachiel trip over Memorial Day weekend. It's a big snow year like when you and I did the hike, so I think you , I and Alex are the only people in the world who know what an ass whipping it is to get boats up there. I thought of you a lot as we crossed gullies and climbed between tree holes dodging snow sculptures in the slushy landscape. Mike Deckert and Ed Schmid are going to hike in this weekend and they have no idea of the mission they've signed onto.
Anyway the surfing has been great here lately with some minus tides and big exchanges and I recently got a Zodiac so I can access some new waves.
Hope to visit you someday down there on a south swell summer day.............................Gary |
