	water was about  20 feet deep, and actually had a pelican divebomb  beside me and follow my bait to the bottom and steal it!   Birds are very people concious, noting trends;  while fishing one has to be careful, as they will even try and take bait midair  while  a fisherman is casting, nothing good can come from this.  Of course I watch them just as well, where the birds are gathering, there are baitfish, and that means bigger fish.     And Shimpboats mean sharks.  WoooHooo!!! Oh on a side note,  for anyone planning on entering the Tsunami Smash,  surf looks really good for Friday, so c'mon up and surf with us if you can.   As for contest day, Karma requires me to say only that if one expects nothing, one will never be disappointed.    This is only what is forecast at present, we all know that can change at the last minute.
