	on the flood and a loaded fast moving freighter header heading north. we expected 3-5' faces, but got a session of huge ones breaking further out than we've ever seen before.  mid-peak steamer like waves breaking in the middle, holding up for 200yds. totally wild.  was in the kayak, wishing i had a smaller surf boat for more manuevable rides.  watched most of it from the shoulder, then took a few as it got smaller.  lasted about 20min total, then total flat glass conditions again.
