Jeez, thats starfish story is as old as the hills themselves and applied to hundred different subjects. First year 101 self improvement class story..

Sorry Marc, Please do not put words in my mouth. Who said give up? Not me.. if anyone reads gloom and doom into my thread then that is their interpretation of my post and I am sorry they see it as un fixable...

What I said is true and are the real issues of pollution. Sorry, beach cleanups and driving bans are red herrings and will net you nothing but pretty looking beaches (still devoid of life)...

It,s not trucks and cars killing the turtles and the beaches micro-life, It is our waste, you can't accept that sir?

fwiw, I love the world and everything in it (including you marc!) and I happen to believe that there is allot we can all do if we stop wasting time on red herrings...

Sometimes we need to get our heads out of the sand and call a spade a spade..  We all pollute the oceans and rivers everyday...

Whats is the solution?

note The solution? 3 billion people on this tiny rock. Nature will correct that. Will_Carry New
