Its old, simple and trite. But it does sum up a significant monitority's outlook on life. Fortunately.
To that end if one plastic bag discarded on the beach doesn't end up a choking a turtle to death as the result of a cleanup, then I reckon there's enough justification to hold one. I suppose the turtle would probably agree, if she could.
Read what I said again....._IF_THERE_IS_ANY_CHANCE of destroying one of these nesting sites then driving on the beach is not worth it. A quick google shows that turtles nest around those beaches, so theres enough proof for me, particularly as I'd only be pursuing my own selfish pleasure.......
I'm going to call my side of the debate to a halt, as I figure it's going to be as worthwile as trying to persuade your president of the presence of global warming ("where's the data, where's the proof?" as if it doesn't take a small amount of the data available and an ounce of imagination to determine that there is a likelihood with a corresponding huge impact......)
And Brian, there is nothing personal. I know nothing about you. Apart from what you post here.
