	Your best bet is to arrive in San Jose early. You'll want to make the drive over the mountain to Jaco while it's still daylight, the CR drivers are crazy, and I wouldn't recommend driving that road at night if you can avoid it. Plan to arrive in SJ by early afternoon and you should be fine. SJ is your typical big city, with all the big city problems, traffic, crime, etc. Pura Vida
