Grew up in Wild Wonderful WV, first rafted the New in '76 in an Army Surplus Raft. Rafted off and on 'til 87 when I had my first trip on the Upper Gauley. Decided it was in my blood so I guided commercially from 1988-96 then had to quit due to the demands of my real job. Bought a Wavesport Z at Gauley Fest 2001 and participated in roll classes that winter. Thus far I've paddled the Cherry, Cranberry, James, Lower Gauley, Lower Yough, Maury, Middle Meadow, Nanty, New, Ocoee, Roanoke & Tuckaseege Rivers. Hope to add more as time and skill level allows.
