One of those people who can't decide if I'm a boater or one of those damn fly fishermen.

Favorite Class: III
Favorite Runs: Has changed over the years: alligash, toccoa, Cartecay,Conasuaga AKA can-I-shag-ya

Personal info: Started paddling canoes as a kid on the lower Potomac river. Moved to Maine in the eighties, and found watersports a way of life. Started paddling Mad River Canoes on some fabled rivers as the penobscot, and Alligash wilderness water way. Paddled many of the samaller rivers and lakes all over new england. Got my fisrt introduction into kayaking while in Maine, "seakayaking". I moved to the Atlanta area in the early nineties, met some local paddlers. I bought a an Overflow X shortly after and started exploring the north GA and Nc rivers. Mostly class III IV rivers. I added to the OX with an RPM Max soon after. Toward the end of the nineties I essentially ended the white water (kayaking)paddling with an injury while playing hockey. Since then it's been all flatwater with some easier class II-III rivers. I still love to be on the water, but since the injury have found that I spend most of my time on the water, not from a boat, but from wading while fly fishing.Don't get me wrong, I still love to boat too. To me they seem so alike in many regards.
