Personal info: I live in one of the best paddling areas in the country. From my home in Greensburg whitewater exists in every direction no further away than 20-40 minute drive. There is something to paddle every day of the year and the upper yough is only 90 minutes away.I know your jealous :) I paddle about 100 days a year wherever there's water. I love steep eastern creeks, and recently big water or low water playboating. I recently have put forth much effort in learning the new wave of playboating moves and I love it. One day I would love to make paddling my lifes work, but until then I am a GIS specialist and make and anylize maps. I have a wonderful and supportive wife who also runs shuttle and can drive a stick (she's quite a catch), and we've recently added to the family our son Jackson Douglas Rigby. He is a reason for living even better than boating if you can imagine that.
